Swimming is hard to shoot, especially when the lighting is crummy and there’s no way to shoot straight down a lane without getting your gear all wet everytime someone executes a flip turn. I found a spot in the pool where an overhead light was shining, creating a spot a little brighter than the rest and focused there waiting for everything to line up to make the first shot below. These two photos ran in the Collegian the other week.
