Last week I sadly bid adieu to my second family and left on a 2,300 mile trek driving from California back to Michigan. The trip was free of unanticipated events, for which I am thankful, but I had many great experiences including racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats, driving 62 miles straight steering only with my knees, and seeing wonderful friends along the way. One of those friends was Julius, who, after graduating from Hillsdale College, moved back to his native Nebraska to do what he loves – farm. I had such a fun time with him on his farm taking photos, learning about pivots and volunteers, and, of course, spending quality time with a friend I respect and admire. More photos to come, but in the meantime head on over to the Facebook page for Gentry Farms and become a fan, or like it, or whatever they’re calling it these days.

Could this be the cover of a Wendell Berry book? ;)

Will, this turned out really well. Can't wait to see the rest. There will be some Gentry paraphernalia headed your way once I get some more made. Have a great semester.
